One of my biggest pet peeves is stupid people. And I’ve had to deal with them on a daily basis for way too long. I use to work at a home improvement warehouse and one of my “favorite” questions was, “Do you work here?” Granted I am standing there in my orange apron and putting away merchandise. And of course, being who I am I answered in some not too gracious ways! A couple of my favorite responses are, “No, I just look good in orange!” or “No, but I can find someone who does!”
I sell on eBay and today this person bought three of one item that I had in a fixed price listing with ten available for purchase. I offered free shipping. Apparently I’m looking at totally the wrong line of work. It seems that the money is in Barbie outfits.
Clothing creators for Mattel usually make around $62,610 a year, according to CNN. And get this, producing Barbie outfits makes Mattel one of the biggest clothing manufacturers in the world!

By the way, I did a Google search on Barbie and this was one of the top images. I have no idea what it’s for exactly.

Im so tired of them going after Obama about the things that other people are saying, how can you hold this man accountable for something that another man said. Obama aint write the lyrics so leave him alone. Im not even all that political, but I urge everybody out there to go vote. No even Obama just vote because your one vote can go a long way. What type of people do you want to run this country, someone who is against anyone who isn’t white to be on top, or a man that is REALLY for unity in this world and uplifting everyone all over no matter what race, age, nationality, and so on.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my decision to leave the Democratic Party and become a Green. On the one hand, there is the feeling that the Democratic leadership isn’t interested in pursuing a truly progressive agenda. There have been so many ways in which such an agenda has been compromised by the leadership lately, the passage of telecom immunity being chief among them. Harry Reid has proven to be exactly the kind of mediocre leader progressives expected him to be. Nancy Pelosi has been a disappointing surprise, however, and Barack Obama’s moves to the right (not the center) have been discouraging.
